This is a snippet of my tevelesion program, People Helping People. The program was based in Erie, Pa and aired on Channel 2. The intention of the show was to highlight positive developments that were occuring in society (and thus serve as a counterweight to all the negative, depressing news that is often shown by the mainstream media). Furthermore, the show served as a resource to identify local, everyday heroes and to put people that were struggling with problems (gambling, alcohol, drugs, financial debt, etc.) into contact with organizations that had the services and resources to aid them in changing their lives for the better.
